FAQ

Common questions about Livy agent wallets, guardrails, MCP, and protected execution.

What problem does Livy solve?

Livy helps teams let AI agents request value-moving actions without giving those agents unlimited wallet power. Livy checks policy before execution and records what happened afterward.

Is Livy a wallet?

No. Livy stores public wallet profiles and evaluates policy. It does not need the agent's private key.

What counts as a protected action?

An action is protected when it goes through Livy MCP/runtime and produces a Livy request, decision, approval nonce, execution state, and receipt.

Are direct wallet sends protected?

No. Direct wallet sends do not create Livy request state, policy decisions, approval nonces, or receipts.

What should I configure first?

Create an agent wallet profile, then create one guardrail, then create a runtime API key in MCP Setup.

Where does the public skill live?

How do I get help?
